HONOR Pad X7b Launches on TikTok Shop at PHP 8,999 Before Nationwide Release

The HONOR Pad X7b’s first-week price is its clearest selling point: Filipino shoppers can get the tablet for PHP 8,999 on TikTok Shop from November 6 to 13, down from its PHP 10,999 list price. That’s a PHP 2,000 discount, followed by a wider release on November 28 at the regular price. The launch gives buyers a short window to save, while the specifications suggest a tablet aimed at everyday viewing and general use.

A 90Hz screen in a compact tablet

The Pad X7b has a 9.7-inch 2K HONOR Eye Comfort Display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of typical brightness and a pixel density of 243ppi. The faster refresh rate can make scrolling and compatible motion look smoother than on a standard 60Hz panel. Its 2K resolution gives the screen room for detailed video and text, while the 9.7-inch size keeps the tablet smaller than many larger-screen options.

HONOR calls the panel an Eye Comfort Display, but the supplied specifications don’t describe specific viewing modes or testing for eye comfort. The measurable details are more useful for setting expectations: 500 nits is the stated typical brightness, and 243ppi describes pixel density. Buyers planning to use a tablet outdoors or for detailed work should keep those figures in mind alongside the screen’s size.

Snapdragon 685 4G and an 8,000mAh battery

Processing comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 4G, an octa-core chip with four Cortex-A73 cores running at up to 2.8GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores at up to 1.9GHz. The source lists 8GB of memory in a 4+4GB configuration and 128GB of expandable storage. There are no benchmark results or performance comparisons in the available specifications, so they don’t establish how the tablet handles demanding games or heavy multitasking.

The 8,000mAh battery is a substantial part of the hardware package, though no battery-life test or charging figure is provided. That means the capacity alone can’t tell buyers how many hours to expect between charges. Use patterns, screen brightness and the apps running on the device all affect runtime, so real-world testing will matter for anyone choosing the tablet as a frequent travel companion.

Storage can be expanded through a card slot rated by HONOR for cards up to 2TB. That gives users room to keep more files on the tablet, with the exact benefit depending on the card they use. The listed 128GB is the built-in capacity; expandable card storage is separate.

Wireless options, weight and durability

The Pad X7b supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, including LDAC support. The source lists both Wi-Fi and LTE versions. The Wi-Fi model weighs 449g, while the LTE version weighs 447g; both are 8.48mm thick. That small weight difference is the one stated distinction between the versions in the supplied details, alongside the LTE model’s cellular connectivity.

HONOR also cites SGS 5-star Enhanced Drop and Crush Resistance. That rating points to testing for drops and crushing, but the provided information doesn’t specify test conditions or guarantee how the tablet will fare in every accident. Buyers should treat the rating as a durability claim with a named testing standard, rather than a substitute for knowing the conditions behind the test.

Price, timing and TikTok Shop offers

The TikTok Shop early-bird offer runs from November 6 through November 13, with the sale price set at PHP 8,999. After that period, the tablet remains on TikTok Shop ahead of its nationwide availability on November 28, when the stated list price is PHP 10,999. The supplied FAQ dates the TikTok Shop start to November 6, 2026; the launch details give November 28 as the nationwide release date.

TikTok PayLater is listed with 0% interest installments of up to six months. Creators will also feature the tablet during the sale, and participating livestreams may include offers and the lowest price. Those details make the purchase route and timing part of the deal: buyers interested in the discount should check the listed terms during the November 6–13 window.

Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines, said the company was bringing the tablet to Filipino consumers first through TikTok Shop with an early-bird offer. For shoppers comparing the Pad X7b with other tablets, the concrete reasons to consider it are the 9.7-inch 90Hz 2K display, expandable storage and lower launch price. The trade-off is that the supplied information doesn’t include tested performance, battery life or charging speed. The early price ends November 13; nationwide availability follows on November 28.
