realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition Costs PhP39,999 in the Philippines
Limited to fewer than 200 units, this realme edition adds Hogwarts styling and collectibles while keeping the standard 16 Pro 5G hardware.

The realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition costs PhP39,999 in the Philippines, with fewer than 200 units allocated nationwide. Its appeal is the themed design and collector’s packaging: the phone’s hardware matches the standard realme 16 Pro 5G, so buyers are paying extra for the Harry Potter treatment and the items packed alongside it.

The company says the collector’s release went on sale October 29, a week after it confirmed the phone for the local market without disclosing its price. Availability is focused on six mall locations: Hogwarts-themed displays are planned for SM Fairview, SM North EDSA, and SM Calamba, while smaller kiosks are set for SM Clark, SM Dasmariñas, and SM Megamall. With fewer than 200 units across the country, each location may have only a small allocation. Buyers interested in the edition should check with a listed branch before making a trip.
What the PhP39,999 price covers
The standard realme 16 Pro 5G arrived in April at PhP31,999 for the 8GB+256GB model and PhP37,999 for the 12GB+512GB model, as reported in our realme 16 Series 5G Philippine launch story. The Harry Potter Edition costs PhP2,000 more than the standard phone’s top configuration. realme hasn’t stated which memory configuration comes in this special release, so it’s not yet possible to make a direct comparison between like-for-like models.

The price premium buys the themed finish, matching software, and a set of collectibles. It doesn’t add processing power, camera hardware, battery capacity, or charging speed. That distinction matters most to shoppers weighing this edition against the less expensive standard model: the extra spend is for the Harry Potter presentation, not a faster or better-equipped phone.

A trunk of themed extras
The packaging takes the form of a trunk marked with the Hogwarts crest. Inside are a Hogwarts acceptance letter addressed to Mr. Potter, postcards featuring Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and bookmarks representing Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. The set also includes Hogwarts crest pins and a ticket styled after the Hogwarts Express, with its route listed as London to Hogwarts via Platform 9¾.
These extras give the release some appeal beyond a themed phone case or a few preloaded images. The trunk and paper collectibles are designed to be kept on display, which suits a limited run aimed at fans who value the physical package. For anyone mainly looking for everyday phone performance, though, the standard model offers the same underlying hardware at a lower listed price.

Distinctive finishes and software touches
The handset is finished in Magic Brown, with an Enchanted Texture Leather back and a three-dimensional diamond pattern inspired by the wizard chessboard. At the center, the Hogwarts Four-House Crest displays the colors of all four houses when exposed to direct sunlight or UV light. realme calls this Quadra Light-Sensing Color-changing Tech. A gold camera decoration inspired by Hedwig frames the lenses, and the words “Welcome to Hogwarts” are engraved along the phone’s side.

The software carries the design through the display and interface. Buyers get two Hogwarts Castle wallpapers: Golden Dawn for daytime and Mystic Dusk for nighttime. The phone also has acceptance-letter-inspired boot-up and fingerprint animations, more than 30 redesigned app icons, and photo watermarks themed around the four houses. These touches make the edition feel more complete than a change limited to the back panel, while leaving the phone’s core capabilities intact.
Same camera, display, and battery specifications
Under the Harry Potter styling, the phone keeps the same specifications as the standard realme 16 Pro 5G. Its rear cameras comprise a 200MP LumaColor main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultrawide camera; the front camera is 50MP. The battery is rated at 7000mAh and supports 80W charging. Those specifications were detailed in our earlier report on its Philippine arrival.

The display is a 144Hz AMOLED panel, and the processor is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300-Max. The body carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. Since the standard realme 16 Pro 5G also uses the Dimensity 7300-Max and the 200MP main camera, the Harry Potter edition doesn’t promise a performance or imaging upgrade. Its case for the PhP39,999 price rests on the collectible design and included trunk.
That makes the choice fairly straightforward: the standard model is the practical pick for buyers focused on specifications and price, while the special edition is for fans who want the themed hardware, interface, and keepsakes together. With fewer than 200 units listed for the Philippine market and sales concentrated at six mall locations, availability is the detail to check first.
